BOOST Auction Items Available for Viewing

The virtual version of the annual BOOST Bash, slated for Saturday, June 27th, is quickly approaching. The event will include an online auction and videos prepared by the BOOST Committee. This year’s event features 95 auction items, all of which are now available for viewing at www.boostgreenecountyschools.com. Bidding is slated to begin early on the week of June 22nd.

The BOOST web page provides more details about the event as well as step-by-step instructions on how to register for the online auction and how online bidding works.  The BOOST committee encourages you to register now.

The BOOST committee will post prepared videos to their Facebook page and YouTube channel starting at 7:00 PM on Saturday the 27th. The first auction items – 5 desserts made by local bakers – will close at 7:10 and then be delivered immediately to the winners. The remaining 90 items will close in waves, with the entire event ending at 8:00.

Many of the auction items are also available for viewing around the square. Items are on display at the following locations: The Rhythm Room, Iowa Realty, and the Masonic Hall.

The BOOST Committee is still offering refunds to anyone who purchased a seat reservation for the event. Those reservations not refunded will be considered a tax-deductible donation. To obtain a refund, email gcschoolsboost@gmail.com, call (515) 370-3325, or send a request to Greene County Schools BOOST / P.O. Box 4 / Jefferson, Iowa 50129.

The BOOST Committee wants to thank the community for its continued support of our schools and is excited for this chance to bring our community together (virtually) on June 27 to show, once again, how we support our students and teachers!
