Jefferson Matters: Main Street has appointed two new members to its board of directors, Lynda Cochran and Amy Roberts.
Cochran retired in 2011 after working for 36 years as an administrative assistant with Jefferson Scranton-Middle School. She and her husband LeRoy have two grown children and two grandchildren. She serves a co-chair of the JM:MS Promotion Committee.
She is involved in the Greene County Medical Center Hospital Auxiliary, PEO, Garden Club, Friday Club and JM:MS Tower View Team.
Roberts is a community activist and school parent. She and her husband Jason have four school-age children enrolled in the Greene County Community School District. Amy is co-chair of theJM:MS Promotion Committee and a member of the JM:MS Tower View Team. She is active as a volunteer reading coordinator in the elementary school and participates in local theatre.
