After last winter, the Design committee initiated ideas for new Christmas decorations in the downtown under the budget established by the City. After a lot of research, the committee presented white snowflake decorations to be attached to the current light poles to the City Council for approval. With the red Joy in Jefferson banners that also includes white snowflakes, they felt these decorations would be festive for Christmas but could stay up even after the holidays into the winter season.
Many thanks to Dave Morlan and the street crew working with this committee. Everyone is excited to see these new decorations up as we “Get Lit in Jefferson” for the holiday season.
